这周儿童博物馆又有新活动了。为了配合奥林匹克主题，开始了一个叫做faux-lumpia's的活动。
刚进门就能看到很漂亮的装饰，门口的手工区都换了新的手工主题，能做面具，头饰，还能做一个盾牌。
室外从十点开始有faux-Lyn pics的活动。今天的活动是呼啦圈比赛，还有孩子家长一起拍气球让气球不落地。现场请了专业DJ配乐。可惜我家女儿非常怕吵，等配乐开始就飞也似的溜了。

Break Free Worldwide Performance: Join us as you learn more about the origins of break dancing while enjoying some moves yourself!

Faux Games w/DJ Tyler: With some tunes to keep your body moving, join us for a fun-filled time with keepy uppy volleyball, a hula hoop marathon, and a freeze dance competition!

Martial Arts and Capoeira Performance: Explore this performance as you have the opportunity to learn more about Capoeira and some moves!

Faux Games w/DJ Tyler: Todays games will challenge you with "basket" ball, paper airplane throwing, and our last challenge will be velcro darts competition! Who'll be the winner?

Dunk Tank “Diving” Competition: Are you ready to get dunked? come challenge yourself to throw the ball and hit the target! Hit the target and you get to do your best silly dive pose while being rated!
Where: Aug. 10 and 11 from 10 am to 1 pm in Concrete Courtyard
室外还有一些有意思的装饰，很有童趣。
新换的小实验是一个会吐烟圈的龙，孩子们很感兴趣，和很容易成功。
最后还得提一下，如果玩累了，门口有休斯顿公立图书馆的分部，坐在里面看看书安静一会也是和孩子度过的很美好的时间。每次我们都要进去读几本书再回家。
在炎热的夏日，休斯顿儿童博物馆能够让你逛上一天也满有乐趣，家庭活动的好去处。
