Guggenheim Museum的Alex Katz回溯展非常值得一看，不得不说Guggenheim Museum的旋转式设计太适合办回溯展了，从底到高一幅幅展品看过去就是经历了艺术家的一生。美术馆还有一个App，除了部分展品讲解外，还附上了几十分钟的音乐，是音乐人们专由此次展览启发制作的，可谓十分用心。
这次的回溯展其名为The Gathering，这真是N关的命名，回溯展是艺术家一生作品的gathering，也引得各式各样的人在此gathering看展，而且艺术家本身也画了一些人的gathering，是不是很妙。
我很喜欢看到的介绍里引用的他的一句话，‘If you get the light you can’t get all the details, if you get the details you don’t get the light. Realism is a variable.’
